La Fuente Alemana - Dios mío

La Fuente Alemana es una institución en Santiago. Es un restauran que hace sándwiches muy grandes y muy ricos. Por un mes, Sylvia (y toda su familia) me estaba diciendo que tenia que ir y comer el "lomito, palta, mayo". Es EL sándwich. Es el restauran favorito de muchos chilenos y un lugar donde Sylvia iba mucho cuando era niña y comía este sándwich. Muchos de los empleados han sido trabajando a este restauran desde abrió. Porque siempre hago lo que me recomiende Sylvia, el otro día fui con Seve para probar este famoso sándwich.

Wow. Primero, no me gusta el lomo mucho. Segundo, no me gusta el mayo. Pero, me gusta este lomo y este mayo. Y el pan... riquísimo! Muy delicioso, hecho en casa y de alta calidad. No obstante, no pienso que pueda comer otra, jaja. Yo regresé al tiro a mi casa y dormí por tres horas. Seve hizo lo mismo. Casi no cené porque todavía estaba muy satisfecha del almuerzo grande. Ahora entiendo porque este restauran es tan conocido.

The Fuente Alemana is an institution in Santiago. It's a restaurant that makes mostly really big, really delicious sandwiches. For a month, Sylvia (and all her family) was telling me I had to go and eat the "pork, avocado, mayo". It is THE sandwich. It is the favorite restaurant of a lot of chileans and a place Sylvia went to a lot when she was young and ate this sandwich. Many of the employees have been working there since it opened. Because I always do what Sylvia recommends, I went the other day with Seve to try this famous sandwich.

Wow. First, I don't like pork very much. Second, I don't like mayo. But, I like this pork and this mayo. And the bread...wonderful! Very delicious, made on site and of very high quality. However, I don't think I can eat another, haha. I came back to the house immediately and slept for three hours. Seve did the same. I basically didn't eat dinner because I was still so full from that huge lunch. Now I understand why this restaurant is so well known.
